With spreading stem on a circular stepped foot, the underside inscribed in ink 'This cup is made from wood taken from Holyrood PalaceEdin' 1880, Palace built in year 1681' -- 5.1/2in. (14 cm) high; 4.1/2in. (11 cm) diameter
