Primitive Milking Stool (Sold)
A primitive painted fruitwood or beech milking stool, probably English or Welsh, 19th century. The four rough hewn legs tapered and splayed.
Dimensions: 24cm wide x 19.5 deep x 16cm high.
Condition: As seen in the images, some legs later reinforced with old nails. All legs and the top original and not replaced. Painted surfaces pleasingly worn with a warm patina to the wood showing through.
