A George III japanned metal teapot, probably Wolverhampton circa 1790

Of navette-shape, decorated with flowers and foliage, the swing handle bound with rattan -- 13.1/2in. (33 cm) long; 7in. (33 cm) wide; 10in. (25 cm) high, overall.

Condition: As can be seen in the images some old chipping and craqueleur to the japanning, with some touching over of the black in small areas. Some losses to the rattan banding on the handle. General wear and tear consistent with age and use.
